Krystalvision, which has over the years supported many IPL seasons prior to COVID, again was selected for Tata IPL 2022. Tata IPL 2022 officially opened on 26th March 2022 and Krystalvision was its baggage security screening supplier. More than 14 units of security screening equipment were deployed in 3 stadiums in Mumbai and Pune for 2 months. The matches were attended by tens of thousands of spectators in a safe and secure environment. Screening systems were installed at VIP entrances, spectator entrance and cargo entrances.
Security authorities relied on Krystalvision threat detection systems to check and clear venues in real time during the two month event. Krystalvision equipment deployed was operated by specially trained operators for this high risk event.
